Course options
The MA comprises courses totalling 180 credits. Students must take at least 30 credits of language-based courses, indicated by an asterisk below. Most courses run in 30-credit versions taught over two terms, Autumn and Spring. All courses below are 15, 30 or 45 credits.
Courses expected to be available are listed below. Students especially interested in particular courses should consult the MARS Degree Tutor. The list of available courses is finalized in July.
Non-MARS students taking MDVL courses:
1. UCL Students outside of the MARS degree should enrol on portico at the start of term.
2. Non-UCL University of London students are welcome to take MDVL courses but must contact the MARS Administrator to reserve a space on their chosen course.
