In the future police will be able to predict the spread of riots, and how they impact on cities, thanks to a new computer model.

The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology has been nominated in the Museums at Night Connect10 competition, an initiative designed to find the inspiring after hours cultural events in museums, galleries and heritage sites around the UK.

UCL joins forces with London Wildlife Trust

UCL has become the first university to sign up for corporate membership of London Wildlife Trust.

UCL will work closely with the London Wildlife Trust to devise a Biodiversity Action Plan. This will indicate ways in which UCL can maintain and improve the biodiversity and sustainability of the university’s urban estate. Additionally, London Wildlife Trust will coordinate with UCL’s Volunteering Services Unit to provide regular volunteering opportunities on the Trust’s nature reserves.
