MSc Biomedical Sciences

Aims & Objectives
The MSc in Biomedical Science aims to give students a broad background in the most recent ongoing research in Biomedical Sciences as it is carried out at UCL. The design of the course aims to maximise the students' transferable skills, including the training in:

1. Laboratory research training in cellular, molecular or systems biomedical science depending upon choice of research project

2. Data analysis

3. Computer literacy - courses available through our Graduate School

4. Oral presentation skills - research and data presentation

5. Critical appraisal of up-to-date literature in relevant research journals

6. Writing skills - essays and final dissertation

7. Time management and taking responsibility for own workload

8. Ability to use deduction and initiative

9. Being able to work independently and as part of a team
