iBSc Neuroscience Degree

The above intercalated BSc specialisations are either organised by or associated with the Division:

The Neuroscience Intercalated BSc is a programme that allows students to follow courses and projects in the areas of Anatomy and Developmental Biology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Biology, Psychology and in the Institutes of Opthalmology, Neurology and Child Health.  This option is only available to internal UCL students.

The research strengths of the Division are in Neuroscience and Developmental Biology and these areas are well represented in the courses available for study.

For further details please refer to the UCL prospectus, and also the Medical School Intercalated BSc admissions information.

Students registered for the first two Intercalated degrees take 2.5 taught course units plus an extended Experimental Research Project, selected from one of the participating Departments or Institutes.

Details of Supervisors will be available during the summer.  It is anticipated that students will talk to prospective supervisors over the summer months. The format for the project normally means that the student becomes a member of the chosen laboratory for much of the year.
