Staff Student Consultative Committee (SSCC)
|
|
College regulations state that there shall be a Staff-Student Committee in every department to provide direct student input and feedback. This is an important forum and one that you are urged to attend.
Feedback from students raised at the SSCC about teaching and academic matters is discussed by the relevant teaching committee. Notices of SSCC meetings are emailed to all students and posted on the departmental notice boards. From the 2010-11 academic year there has been a joint SSCC meeting for all student whose programmes fall within the Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology (NPP) domain.
The activities of SSCCs are monitored by the College Joint Staff-Student Committee which is chaired by the Dean of Students and has student representatives nominated by UCL Union. Dr Jonathan Fry is the Convenor of the Neuroscience SSCC.
2011-12 Meetings
The dates for the SSCC Meetings in the academic year 2011-12 are yet to be confirmed.
All students will be sent email information for the above meetings, please bring your lunch and come along. If any students have any issues they would like raised at the meetings please email Helen Jefferson-Brown on h.jefferson-brown@ucl.ac.uk
SSCC Representatives The current SSCC representatives for 2011-12 are to be nominated.
