Module outline:The Core Skills Module consists of various analytical and technical units, the sociological implications raised by new genetic technologies together with presentation and writing skills 
Module aims:This module is aimed at reiterating and teaching life skills such essay writing, answering exam questions, poster design and PowerPoint presentations as well as giving talks. In additional topics such as diagnostics, biobanking, ethics and research governance requirements are also covered to enhance students knowledge of fields outside of a academia that they may be interested In pursuing.
