The Bartlett School of Architecture wins Life Learning Award for innovative professional development
On Wednesday 10 June 2015 UCL held its 8th annual Awards for Enterprise. These awards honour the efforts and accomplishments of UCL’s innovative and entrepreneurial academics and students. The awards ceremony and reception highlight UCL as a leading hub of innovation and commercial activity, while bringing together academics with businesses and investors.

The Department of English Language and Literature at UCL worked closely with a number of partners (the National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE), St Aidan's VC Primary School in north London, and UCL Business PLC), to conduct a research project which resulted in the launch of Englicious.
The London Assembly’s Health Committee launched a report on 9 June 2015 which shows that access to health services for deaf people in the capital is still unacceptable and in need of urgent attention. Meanwhile, UCL has been developing the UK’s first fully online, comprehensive deaf awareness course.
The Deafness, Cognition and Language (DCAL) team launched their new CPD courses on Tuesday 17 March by holding their very own bake off competition which attracted some highly creative entries.
