In the period 2011-2014, UCL Library Services will support UCL’s academic mission by building on existing strengths and balancing resources to maintain and improve a quality of service that befits a world-leading university.  

By 2014, UCL Library Services will:

• Enrich the student experience by providing services and resources that meet the changing profile and increasingly high expectations of UCL’s learners.
• Transform its physical spaces to continue to meet the needs of learners, teachers and researchers.
• Engage new audiences, using the best of its collections, expertise and spaces.
• Strengthen its partnerships in healthcare and research support.
• Increase and enhance access to electronic resources for its students and staff.
• Exploit the Library’s digital repository infrastructure to deliver innovative services in support of the UCL research agenda.
• Be staffed by a workforce whose skills continue to keep pace with change.
