Bank of London & South America Ltd Archives

Letter books and some accounting records, c1868-1945, of the Bank of London & South America, which was formed in 1923 as an amalgamation of the London & Brazilian Bank and the London & River Plate Bank. In 1936 the Bank took over the Anglo South American Bank, which had itself absorbed the British Bank of South America and the Commercial Bank of Spanish America.
