Publishers, founded by George Routledge in 1836. Routledge and Kegan Paul Ltd. was formed in 1912 as an amalgamation of the firms of Routledge & Sons (incorporating J C Nimmo Ltd) and Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co (incorporating Henry S. King). They consist of accounts, stock books, agreements and publication books.
There is no correspondence apart from letters attached to contracts- these and other records are held by Reading University Library.
