UCL’s Publications Policy stipulates that all UCL research outputs, funded or otherwise, must be deposited in UCL Discovery in Open Access.
For RCUK- and Wellcome Trust-funded authors, UCL’s Open Access claims/deposit procedure includes deposit in UCL Discovery. Research outputs funded by other organisations, or not resulting from external funding, should be deposited in UCL Discovery via the Research Publications Service.

Key principles:
(1) a copy of all research outputs should be deposited in UCL Discovery in Open Access (2) individual UCL academic researchers should be directly responsible for providing and maintaining details of their publications in relevant UCL databases
