UCL is undertaking an exciting series of building projects for UCL Library Services, as part of the UCL Bloomsbury Master Plan. These developments will serve to improve library facilities and services, across library sites. Work is co-ordinated as part of the Library Services Strategy 2011-14 and specifically under a new Key Performance Area: Space Management. News on current progress is given here:

These developments in the Library's estate are a major investment in the future of library and information services for UCL. Library Services forms one of the network of major academic research libraries in the United Kingdom. The enhanced facilities will create a better environment for learning and research, provide state-of-the-art facilities for UCL's Special Collections and enhance the Library's significant offering of electronic materials.
