UCL is undertaking an extensive series of new building projects for UCL Library Services. Some of these are part of Advancing London's Global University - the Campaign for UCL. In 2008, as a blueprint for future development, UCL Library Services commissioned a Library Estate Master Plan. News on current progress is given here:
UCL Main Library refurbishment
UCL Science Library Refurbishment Phase 1
UCL Science Library Refurbishment Phase 2
UCL Language & Speech Science Library in refurbished Chandler House
UCL SSEES new building
Self-service at the Eastman Dental Institute Library
These developments in the Library's estate are a major investment in the future of library and information services for UCL. Library Services forms one of the network of major academic research libraries in the United Kingdom. The enhanced facilities will create a better environment for learning and research, provide state-of-the-art facilities for UCL's Special Collections and enhance the Library's significant offering of electronic materials.
Fundraising for this significant work has begun. If you would like to learn more about these developments, please contact the Director of Library Services
