New entry system at the Main Library from late June

As part of our commitment to excellent customer service, we are upgrading the UCL Main Library entry system.
From 25 June 2018 onwards, library users will simply need to tap their UCL ID card on the Main Library gates. External users will need to obtain a new library card as their old library card will cease to work.
Obtaining a new library card is a very quick and easy process, and the new card will be valid for all UCL libraries. To obtain a new card, please visit the Information Point at the Main Library entrance with photo ID (please see our membership section for details of suitable documents) during the following opening hours:
- Monday - Friday: 09:30 - 19:00
- Saturday: 11:00 - 17:45
- Sunday: Closed
