More new study spaces with PCs

18 September 2017

Work is underway to provide 440 additional study spaces with PCs across Library Services. The first phase of the project has now completed.

New study spaces with PCs

Throughout the summer, 440 additional study spaces with PCs will be delivered across Library Services, as part of a joint ISD / Library initiative.

We are pleased to announce that the first spaces are now ready:

Science Library, 3rd floor

A new study cluster with 68 PCs, located in the Physical Sciences reading room on the 3rd floor of the UCL Science Library, opened on 13 September.

The Geology Reading Room, also on the third floor, has reopened with 16 additional study spaces.

Science Library, 1st floor

14 study spaces with PCs have been opened in the Librarianship Reading Room in the UCL Science Library (DMS Watson Building), located on the first floor.

The 14 PCs in Librarianship are pop up units and the spaces can be used for either study or PC desks.

Additional spaces to follow

More announcements of additional PC study spaces will follow shortly as rooms are completed.
