Last year's refurbishment of the Science Library necessitated a reorganisation of the journals which are housed there. As a rule of thumb, the last ten years (1991 -) of most titles can now be found on floors 1-4 whereas older (pre-1991) journals are either kept on the Ground Floor or in the Library's Store in Wickford, Essex.

Two other considerations are worth bearing in mind however:

• Pre-1991 Medical Sciences have been moved to the Cruciform Library on Gower Street.
• Where UCL holds both print and electronic versions of Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Maths or Engineering titles, for reasons of space the print copies will be at Wickford, except the last two years.

The pre-1991 journals on the Ground Floor have been selected by UCL departments on the basis of importance. A list of which titles are there and which are in the Store is available at the Enquiry Desk.
