New Issue Desk

From the Autumn Term, Science Library users will notice new service desks. Key amongst these will be a new Issue Desk, first port of call for those wishing to borrow and return books and to use the Stores Service.

Short Loan books will be obtained by asking at the Issue Desk, removing the need to enter and leave the area via security gates. Book security will also be improved, making it more likely that they will be available when users need them. The Issue Desk will incorporate a Stores service point, where users can enquire after and collect material from Stores. New signposting completes the picture.
