Articles on Request

For many years it has been possible to request whole journal volumes from our Stores: the existing service is described at www.ucl.ac.uk/library/Stores.htm

We urge all Library Services members to use the electronic request forms that can be found there: they are easy to use, quick and reliable.

In the Autumn term we plan to trial the supply of individual articles from journals in our stores, whenever this is physically possible. This trial service will be free and exclusive to UCL staff and students.

In order to get an individual article, it is vital that users give full details of the item in their request. A copyright declaration form must also - under copyright law - be signed at the time of collection. After the trial period we hope to develop and expand the service.
