Meet the...Medical Site Librarians
UCL Library Services includes a large number of specialist medical libraries, many working to support research, learning and teaching within individual medical disciplines. Such a large group of libraries will always be undergoing change, development and growth and the year 2000 is no exception. The medical site librarians meet regularly to co-ordinate practice and issues in relation to the wider UCL family of libraries. This picture shows some of the medical site librarians available at the time this photograph was taken in the grounds of the Eastman Dental Institute.
From left those pictured are; Garry Peacock (retired Dec 99), Patricia Campbell (Boldero), Betsy Anagnostelis (Royal Free), John Clarke (Child Health), Stevie Russell (Human Communication Science), Louise Shepherd (Neurology), Dr Paul Ayris (Director, Library Services), Matt Hunt (Eastman), Debbie Heatlie (Ophthalmology).
Colleagues not pictured are; Kate Cheney (Cruciform), Dr Paul Pearson (Laryngology), Beth Adams (Orthopaedics) and Mary Plackett (RNID).
