Equal Opportunities: Library Services now has an Equal Opportunities Monitoring Committee. The purpose of the group, established in January 2003, is to monitor the progress of equal opportunities issues within the Library; to identify and liaise with established groups focusing on equal opportunities issues within UCL; and to ensure that the Library's services meet the needs and aspirations of target groups. A web page reflecting the Committee's activities will soon appear on the Library's web site.

Part-time students: Library Services now has a member of staff responsible for overseeing services to part-time students. There is a leaflet available with advice for those who only attend UCL out of "office hours" and an accompanying web page. If you are a part-time student and have comments about how the Library's services to part-time students might be developed, we would very pleased to hear from you
