Main Library refurbishment postponed: Following extensive discussions with architects and planners, it has become apparent that a much more ambitious scheme than was originally envisaged can now be identified for the refurbishment and development of the library spaces in the Wilkins building. This will result in a better quality library space for all users of Library Services. Estates and Facilities are organising a wider tendering exercise, which will take some time to complete. As a result, there will be no substantial redevelopment in the Wilkins building this summer.
