We were delighted that the two-part BBC programme, Britain's Forgotten Slave-owners won the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) TV award for 2016 in the ‘Specialist factual’ category (awarded 8 May 2016).
The first of two episodes, presented by David Olusoga, was broadcast at 9.00pm on Wednesday 15th July 2015 on BBC2, the second a week later. For more information see the BBC website page and BBC programme page.
We were also delighted that the programme won the Royal Historical Society Public History Prize Winner for Broadcasting.
