London produce broker, executor of Thomas Kemble and of the latter's son Thomas Nash Kemble (each of whom q.v.) and probably trustee for George Hibbert on Morgan's Valley estate in Jamaica. Although a partner with Thomas Nash Kemble and a consignee, assignee and receiver of 'slave-property', he does not appear in the compensation records as owner or mortgagee.
Son of John and Sarah Kemble, baptised 25/01/1787 Swindon Wiltshire; remarried Q1 1849 Brighton; death registered Holborn Q1 1850.
Will of Edward Bedwell Kemble of South Hanningfield Essex proved 30/03/1850. The long will is apparently silent on property in the Caribbean, and rehearses his first marriage settlement. His residuary legatee was his brother Rev. William Kemble.
