Awarded part of the compensation for the Tryall estate in Hanover Jamaica, the bulk of which went to descendants of the Acres family, including Francis Acres Hyde and Rev. George Sandby (both of whom q.v.). George Louis's own role has yet to be determined: he was possibly a trustee.

  1. A George Louis of Colyton Devon Barrister at law, was appointed a Tithe Commissioner in 1838.
