Biography

Partner with Thomas Murray, Matthew Steele and George Henry Loxdale in T & H Murray of Liverpool. He and his brother Thomas sold out their interest in the firm in or before 1853, to their former partners Matthew Steele and George Henry Loxdale. To date no probate has been found for him by LBS. He was possibly the man whose death was recorded at Southampton in 1864.

  1. MURRAY ‐ At Southampton, on 23rd ult., Henry Murray, Esq., one of the oldest merchants of this city [Georgetown], aged 64 years. Deeply regretted by a circle of friends.
