Biography

  1. There was a Robert Robinson, Surgeon, who owned a coffee estate in St Lucia and was also Curator of Vacant Successions and Medical Report to the Court, resident in Castries, who gave evidence on slave labour to Privy Council in 1831 who stated he had resided in the colony for 15 years.

  2. In 1815 Robert Stevenson (sic) Robinson of Castries Esquire signed a slave return in St Lucia acting as attorney for Charles Robinson.

  3. In 1851 England Census a Robert Robinson born c. 1837 in St Lucia was residing in Plymouth St Andrew, Devon with his aunt Louisa Plummer.
