Biography

Probably the Alexander Henry of Alexander Henry & Co. (q.v.), West India merchant of London with a partnership in Kingston, who was bankrupt in 1811. Alexander Henry of Finsbury Square was named as executor in the will of John Johnston, late of the parish of St Thomas-in-the-East in Jamaica but now of Everitt Street Brunswick Square Middlesex merchant, proved 16/02/1807, but was removed in a codicil.

  1. An Alexander Henry Master of the Workhouse died Q4 1837 Rotherhithe and was buried 17/11/1837 at St Mary Rotherhithe aged 61.

  2. Alexander Henry junior Clerk of the Company for Imperial Gas Light and Coke Company, 10 Coleman Street October 21 1828; simply 'Alexander Henry' 1847 in the same role.
