Biography

Slave-owner on Tortola. The National Archives has a copy of the will of George Hannah of Virgin Island and Tortola dated 1798. In the 1798 Robert Wilkinson map he was shown as owning lots 26 and 36, both sugar estates.

  1. On Tuesday last, Daniel V. Donovan, Esq. cf Liverpool, to Miss Mary Ann Hannah, youngest daughter of the late George Hannah, Esq. of the Island of Tortola.
