Biography

Hampson Nedham, of Mount Olive, Jamaica, Esq. Barrister-at-Law. Inner Temple 1730. Born 1706. Died April, 1752. Buried in the Cathedral at Spanish Town. Married, 6th January, 1728, Martha, daughter of John Dubber, of Witney, Co. Oxford. They had issue: — William Dandy Dedham (q.v.).

Hampson Nedham was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 198 acres of land in St Catherine, 426 acres in St Ann and 8623 acres in St Thomas-in-the-Vale, total 9247 acres.
