John Chambers (q.v.) of Letterkenny Ireland was awarded part of the compensation having counterclaimed as representative of Brooke Rynd mortgagee deceased for the enslaved people on Cheltenham estate, Mustique, St Vincent.
- "Nov. 8 [Death] In Southampton-street, Covent Garden, Brookes [sic] Rynd, Esq. late of St. Vincent." Will of Brooke Rynd of No. 11 Southampton Street Covent Garden proved 11/03/1826. Brooke Rynd aged 60 was buried at St Paul Covent Garden 15/11/1825. His probate inventory, dated July 1828, lists him as Brooke Rynd, esq of Island of Mastegna [sic], St Vincent, West Indies died Hampshire Street, Middlesex.
