Son of Francis Beckford and Susan Love, grandson of Peter Beckford the younger of Jamaica and father of Francis Love Beckford junior (q.v.) and probably of William Beckford of Beckford & Ranken (q.v.).

  1. Married Johanna Lloyd (née Leigh), and was thereby the brother-in-law of Chaloner Arcedeckne and uncle (and later father-in-law) of Andrew Arcedekne (q.v.). Will of Francis Love Beckford 'of Mitcham Surrey' proved 15/03/1838.
