William Henry Doig also registered [pp. 211-212] a further 49 enslaved people 'under rent to me on Rigby's' the property of heirs of Elizabeth Darby, 'as Renter from the Heirs of Elizabeth Darby.' These latter enslaved people had previously been registered by George Weatherill Ottley atty to Hastings Elwin Esq., executor under the will of Langford Lovell Hodge decd.
