Notes

Barbados Bay division (St George parish) Lot no. 9 (500 acres) which became the Messepotamia [sic] estate was originally granted to Timothy Blenman according to Fowler, although Woodcock shows 'William Blenman'; by 1773 Fowler shows William Blenman as the Present Proprietor. c. 1867 'Present Possessor Earl of Harewood.' It does not appear in the 1832 list of Owners, the 1862 list of estates in cultivation, nor in the compensation records.
