Associated People (12)

The dates listed below have different categories as denoted by the letters in the brackets following each date. Here is a key to explain those letter codes:

  • SD - Association Start Date
  • SY - Association Start Year
  • EA - Earliest Known Association
  • ED - Association End Date
  • EY - Association End Year
  • LA - Latest Known Association
1787 [EA] - 1788 [LA] → Mortgagee-in-Possession
1787 [EA] - 1788 [LA] → Mortgagee-in-Possession
1789 [EA] - 1794 [LA] → Owner

John Campbell's ownership over a longer period is obscured by the presence of mortgagees-in-possession

1791 [EA] - 1792 [LA] → Mortgagee-in-Possession

For 1792, the Accounts Produce show: 'Account signed in London for Thomas Hankey deceased by Wm Alers and Will Duncan executors.' Thomas Hankey did not apparently die until 1793 [his will was proved 15/10/1793 and his burial record shows oddly 10/11/1793] , so these accounts must have been post-dated. William Alers [later William Alers Hankey] and William Duncan were certainly among his executors.

1792 [EA] - 1804 [LA] → Other

Returns were made for the executors of Thomas Hankey as mortgagee-in-possession

1811 [EA] - → Previous owner
1815 [EA] - 1834 [LA] → Trust beneficiary
1817 [EA] - 1820 [LA] → Attorney
1832 [EA] - → Attorney
1834 [EA] - → Trustee
1834 [EA] - → Trustee
1834 [EA] - → Trustee
