Parliamentary Papers p. 309. The award was split between Ab. F. Favey (£48 2s 7d); Sam. Nelson (£29 0s 4d); R.H. Mason (£22 9s 0d); John McKie, W. Graham and W. Croil (£252 2s 1d); John Ahile (£372 17s 10d); John Jones (£32 6s 5d); J. Jamieson and J. Ramsey (£37 10s 4d); Wm. Shand (£565 13s 2d); E. Y. Walcott and G. L. Wilder (£678 0s 3d).

T71/877: Claim by Samuel Harman, owner-in-fee. Counterclaims were mostly from local judgement and execution creditors, with the exception of: John Jones, Liverpool; Wm. Shand; Anthony Browne of Kensington, England, annuitant and execution creditor, £5126 2s 3d (withdrawn); Major Edmund Yeomans Walcott of Woolwich, Kent, and George Lodowick Wilder of Downing Street, London, who were  'trustees under marriage settlement of Samuel M. Clogstoun [sp.?] and Miss Caroline J. Walcott, for two legacies of £3000 each under the will of the claimant's grandfather.'

T71/1609: letter dated 11/04/1839 from Samuel Nelson, of White [??] Hall Belfast - he left London without collecting the award, 'as the amount was trifling, I did not trouble myself about it since but now give it to my young Friend.'
