T71/430 p. 746: Mr van Nooten [?] certified that A.M. Meertens was 'unable to attend from extreme weakness and debility and confirm the truth of the above declaration 'signed' by him", registering 307 enslaved persons on La Retraite estate in 1832.

 

T71/885: claim by the curators of the estate of A.M. Meertens. Counterclaim from John Campbell, of Glasgow.

 

T71/1257: counterclaim by de Lepel, of Amsterdam, and by the heirs of Francois Martin (deceased), residing in France, as mortgagees.
