T71/899: claim by J.R. Best, attorney to Abraham P. Cumberbatch. Counterclaim from Abel Rous Dottin, of Argyll Street, London; John Pollard Mayers, of Braxted [?], Kent; Robert Chaloner, late of Guisborough, Yorkshire; and Henry Walker Yeoman, of Woodlands (near Whitby), Yorkshire, all as trustees under a deed of 10/04/1819, for securing to Caroline Cumberbatch an annual sum of £356 for life. Counterclaim also from Elizabeth Susannah Jones, of Manchester St, Middlesex (a widow); Joseph Esdaile, of Brompton, Middlesex; and Daniel Smith Brockett, of Lincolns Inn Fields, all as trustees for said Elizabeth Susannah Jones, under a deed of 18/07/1829, for securing said Elizabeth Susannah Jones an annuity of £150, subject to certain incumbrances therein mentioned. Counterclaim also from Gibbs and Bright of Bristol. Requests from Daniel Smith Brockett [?] etc. that stock to be awarded to Elizabeth Susannah Jones be transferred into the joint names of Abel Rous Dottin etc. Request also from A.P. Cumberbatch and Bright & Gibbs.
