T71/1593 p. 279: letter, dated 06/10/1836, to E. Walkinshaw, Liverpool, responding to Edward Walkinshaw's letter to Lord Glenelg. Edward Walkinshaw had misnumbered the claim, and was given details of this correct claim.
T71/519 p. 2263 (Slave Registers of 1834): 25 enslaved persons were registered to 'Cottage' by Wm. Walkinshaw.
T71/1611: letter from Edward Walkinshaw referring to this claim, stating that residuary interest was 'vested in a widow with eight destitute children.'
