1838A: £250 0s 0d went to William Fraser etc. (T71/1305: as assignees of mortgage ); £420 16s 4d went to Edward Walkinshaw.

1838B: £670 16s 5d went to Wm. Eccles and Robert Eccles.

T71/1593 p. 279: letter, dated 06/10/1836, to E. Walkinshaw, Liverpool, responding to Edward Walkinshaw's letter to Lord Glenelg. Edward Walkinshaw had misnumbered the claim, and was given details of this correct claim.

T71/519 p. 2263 (Slave Registers of 1834): 25 enslaved persons were registered to 'Cottage' by Wm. Walkinshaw.

T71/1611: letter from Edward Walkinshaw referring to this claim, stating that residuary interest was 'vested in a widow with eight destitute children.'

T71/1594 p. 154: letter, dated 18/12/1837, to Mrs Sarah Walkinshaw, 10 Brunswick Buildings, Weymouth (Dorset), declining guidance on the outcome.
