T71/871: claim from Thomas Tate, of Westmoreland, as owner-in-fee. Counterclaim from Robert Allwood for a part of the total enslaved persons, as mortgagee. Pitcairn & Amos also counterclaimed as assignee of all the compensation money, 'subject to a probable counterclaim for a part'.
