Joseph Sturge and Thomas Harvey, The West Indies in 1837 (London, Hamilton, Adams, & Co., 1838) p. 316-8: attorney on the estate was Thomas McCornock, alludes to the 'little brick church, built by the proprietor', but no identification of owner.
