T71/856: claim by Robert Fairweather, St Mary, attorney to heirs of Charles Grant. Counterclaim from Sir Alexander Cray Grant; and from Hibberts, holders of mortgage and other securities for £18,628 18s 8d.

T71/1606: letter from Freshfields dated 08/12/1836: that a notice from Hibberts solicitors that a Bill was filed in Court of Chancery by Sir Alexander Grant, Hibberts & others to have the rights of all parties interested in the Estate and more particularly in the compensation money adjudicated by the Court of Chancery, and alludes to Charles Grant Bruce [?] as party beneficially interested in Estate subject to charges.
