Dr Fiona Smith, Faculty of Laws, UCL
Senior Lecturer in Law, joint editor of 'Competition, Regulation and the New Economy' (Hart 2004) and author of 'Agriculture and the WTO: Towards a WTO Model for International Agricultural Trade Regulation' (Edward Elgar, published 2009). Her research focuses on WTO law, particularly international agricultural trade, and the use of language in international trade agreements. She is currently supervising PhD students' theses on international agricultural trade and trade aspects of energy transit.

Dr Isabelle Van Damme, Associate, Sidley Austin LLP Geneva. Formally Turpin-Lipstein Fellow, College Lecturer in Law, Director of Studies, Clare College; Affiliated Lecturer, Assistant LL.M. Director, University of Cambridge, Faculty of Law. She is joint editor of the Oxford Handbook of International Trade Law and is currently working on a monograph on 'Treaty Interpretation by
the WTO Appellate Body'. Dr. Van Damme supervises in European Law and International Law and she lectures in the LL.M. courses on WTO Law and International Intellectual Property Law. Her research interests include WTO Law, Public International Law, European Law, and International Institutional Law.
