UCL FACULTY OF LAWS

UCL Laws Semester in London

Module Choice

SIL students select their modules from those offered by UCL on their taught masters degree programme. The module summaries indicate whether modules are suitable for SIL students and how each will be assessed at the end of term. Modules that run entirley in term two are not available for SIL students. Students are required to spread their classes over a minimum of 3 days.

Students are able to make an initial module selection and have two weeks after teaching begins to change modules, by mutual consent and in agreement with their home university. The selection is made via the Graduate and International Programmes Administrator and you will receive further information on the process once you have accepted your offer.

Please note:

Due to the nature of the programme we ask Semester in London students NOT to complete their module choices via the UCL student database Portico, as they will otherwise be formally registered for the examination period between April and July. Students will receive information on how to select and confirm their modules after accepting their offer and during the induction week.
