Libraries

Semester in London students are registered with the UCL Library and the Library at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, for which you will receive your cards during your induction programme. The UCL Library holds over 1.3 million volumes, including a good law collection. Through their web site students have access to full-text online journals and numerous databases with their remote login.

The Institute of Advanced Legal Studies Library is situated in short walking distance from Bentham House and not only gives access to a huge number of volumes but also offers an extensive programme of public lectures.

ICT Facilities

The Faculty of Laws has two computer rooms in the basement of Bentham House for the use of Law students only and UCL offers free wireless access in hotspots across the campus.

Laptops

Students bringing their own laptop would be wise to bring a standard rj45 patch lead. The data connections in Halls of Residence/Student Houses are wired, not wireless. Details of wireless access and other information can be found on the Information Systems
