UCL FACULTY OF LAWS

UCL Laws Semester in London

Since 1994, the Faculty of Laws at UCL has welcomed many students from Boston University, Cornell Law School, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and the University of Texas at Austin on their Semester in London (SIL) Programme. The programme is only open to students from these four Law Schools. The application and selection process takes place within their home universities.

Students spend the first term of the academic year following a selection of modules offered by UCL on its Taught Master Degree Programme. They undertake assessments in London before Christmas, the results of which count towards their Joint Degree.

The programme starts with an orientation session, and continues over the following days with an induction programme including various lectures, educational visits, court visits, registration etc.
