During your time with Pathways you will receive advice and assistance by:

  • Partnering with a LLB mentor currently studying law at UCL who will offer individual advice and assistance about the programme and related matters
  • Gaining full access to an e-mentoring scheme where you will have regular contact with your mentor throughout the programme
  • Obtaining careers advice from the university and legal professionals who will work with you to explain the opportunities available
  • Learning the best way to approach applications for higher education, employment opportunities and your career in general

Throughout your time on the programme we will provide you with key information that will assist you as you continue your studies and begin researching and planning your future careers. You will be informed about:

  • The routes into higher education and the processes involved in student recruitment
  • The legal profession and the variety of employment opportunities within the legal sector
  • The practical realities about higher education, careers and recruitment - including funding for university
  • Past and present controversial legal issues with the intention of developing critical understanding
