Dr Dan Sarooshi, former Deputy-Director of the Institute, co-organized with Professor Malgosia Fitzmaurice of Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL), the high-level conference ‘Issues of State Responsibility before International Judicial Institutions’ held at QMUL on 11 October 2002. The conference was co-sponsored by the Institute of Global Law, UCL; and the Institute of International Law, QMUL.
