Profile
Radosveta joined the UCL Faculty of Laws in January 2012 as an MPhil/PhD candidate. She holds a Master's Degree in Economic Law from Sciences-Po, Paris (2009) and a Master's Degree in Global Business Law (with distinction) from Université de Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and Sciences-Po, Paris (2009). She graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in the USA with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (2007). Prior to joining the Faculty, Radosveta worked in the field of international commercial and corporate law both in France and in her native Bulgaria.
Radosveta's research interests encompass international economic law, in particular European Union law, as well as comparative contract law. Her thesis examines the feasibility and desirability of a common contract law for the European Union in light of the co-existence of diverging legal traditions and perceptions regarding contract law's purpose and role. By comparing some key principles of English and Bulgarian contract law, her research pinpoints conceptual and practical difficulties that may arise if a common contract law is implemented in the EU.
Radosveta is fluent in Bulgarian, English and French, and has a working knowledge of Russian.
