Fun Activities

The Centre for Law and Governance in Europe organized a study trip to the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg for LLB and LLM students interested in EU law on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. The group attended a hearing at the European Court of Justice (case C-73/07 which was an extremely interesting case on data protection) and met a number of referendaires (legal clerks) and judges at the European Court of Justice and the Court of First Instance. Judge *Paul J. Mahoney*, President of the Civil Service Tribunal and a former teacher at UCL attended the lunch offered by the Court to teh group and answered students' questions on the role and the work of the Civil Service Tribunal and on a range of topics in European Union law.
