ProfileProfessor Elizabeth Wilmshurst, Visiting Professor, is a senior fellow in International Law at Chatham House. She had previous been Deputy Legal Adviser at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Legal Counsellor to the UN, and Legal Counsel to the Attorney General’s Office. Her teaching and research expertise are in the area of international: to the use of force; International criminal Law including the international criminal course; the law of the UN and its organs; consular and diplomatic law; State and sovereign immunity; and international humanitarian law.
