ProfileProfessor Keith Michel, Visiting Professor, is a former partner at Holman Fenwick & Willan. His practice involves litigation, arbitration and advisory work covering most aspects of marine litigation, international trade and insurance, in particular in the energy field. He obtained the Solicitor-Advocate's certificate in 1995. He has been involved in a significant number of major Court and arbitration cases in London and overseas, many requiring extensive investigation and technical evidence. He teaches on the Master’s course Carriage of Goods by Sea and War, Piracy and Terror on the High Sea.
